Dr. Larry Fennigkoh is a biomedical engineer with over 30 years of experience involving the design, testing, maintenance, and management of medical devices, electrical medical devices, home health care, and hospital equipment. He has worked in hospitals for more than 20 years investigating numerous patient injuries and deaths involving the misuse and failure of medical devices and equipment. He has a strong background in clinical engineering and medical science, especially as applied to healthcare.

After a total of 20 years as the Director of Biomedical Instrumentation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Director of Clinical Engineering at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Dr. Fennigkoh entered the classroom. He currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in medical instrumentation, biomedical engineering design, biomechanics, biostatistics, and physiology at the Milwaukee School of Engineering and the Medical College of Wisconsin.

A partial list of his memberships includes the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers, the Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society (previous National Chairman of its Standards Committee), and the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation. He holds one patent, and has published many articles.
