Joe has over 30 years experience in planning, design, bidding, and construction, including 20 years of full time on-site field supervision. His specialty areas include CPM scheduling, detailed cost estimating, value engineering, constructability review, project management, and evaluating claims for cost and time.
Throughout his career Joe has provided effective leadership in managing high profile multiple-prime construction projects for large commercial, industrial, institutional, and government buildings; and served as structural designer in the electrical power and the mineral process industries. He has been responsible for safe construction practices on his jobsites. His experience involves numerous aspects of construction with General Contractors, Design/Build Contractors, and Construction Management firms working on projects in both the private and public sectors. His public sector work includes state, city, and county jurisdictions.
Joe is a Professional Engineer registered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) and is licensed in Ohio and Pennsylvania. In addition to completing various OSHA courses, design and construction related seminars; he acted as general contractor during construction of his personal residence. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Structural Engineering Institute.
