Fire Origin & Cause Expert, Arson Investigation Expert

Twenty-five years on the job with the Bureau of Fire for the City of Lancaster has given Ed a wealth of hands-on knowledge and experience. He advanced through the department retiring with the rank of Lieutenant, Assistant Fire Marshal with the Arson Squad.

While with the City of Lancaster, he was an advisor and liaison to the Fire Commissioner for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and remains in that capacity. In addition to his expertise he can also provide technical support to resolve questions appropriate to fire department operations and personnel.

Ed has attained seven different certifications in his field, and he maintains a number of professional affiliations including the International Association of Arson Investigators, the Fraternal Order of Police and the International Association of Fire Fighters. He’s a nationally requested speaker, and he’s also written a number of articles for publication.
