You can’t do much better than an internationally recognized marine expert. Marjorie was the director of the Office of Marine Safety for the National Transportation Safety Board for 11 years, and has also been a visiting professor at the World Maritime University during that time as well.

She’s been responsible for all facets of marine accident investigations, including the collection of evidence and analysis of facts to determine probable cause, preparation of detailed reports for use by both domestic and international government agencies, and she’s testified before Congress, federal regulators and the maritime industry. She’s instructed international graduate students, naval personnel and commercial investigators in all manner of marine accident investigation. Prior to her work at NTSB, Marjorie was with the U.S. Coast Guard for ten years, most spent as chief of the Fire Protection section.

Marjorie’s professional credentials include being recipient of the Silver Medal from the Department of Transportation, and U.S. Coast Guard License: Third Assistant Engineer, Unlimited Horsepower.
