During the past 20 years, Lance has provided field investigations, analysis, written reports, and court testimony for several hundred cases related to highway design, construction, operation, and maintenance, and reconstruction of motor vehicle crashes. Included in these cases are more than 200 crashes involving pedestrians or bicyclists, more than 80 crashes involving utility poles, and numerous crashes in construction work zones.
Through a number of consulting and project management positions, he’s supervised design, field engineering and field inspection for road and bridge projects. He has specialized training in both highway engineering and accident resonstruction.
Lance is licensed as a Professional Engineer in five states and he maintains a number of professional affiliations, including the Transportation Research Board and Society of Automotive Engineers.
