Mark is a licensed Architect registered in multiple states including Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New Jersey and South Carolina, and holds certification by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. His memberships and affiliations include the American Institute of Architects, International Code Council, American Society for Testing and Materials, and the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry.
Mark's twenty-five years of practical experience includes the design and construction of restaurants, postal facilities, multi-family residential developments, nursing homes, medical office buildings, hospital renovations, correctional facilities, automobile dealerships, zoological exhibits, and waste-water treatment plants.
This diverse architectural career path also led Mark to perform exterior surveys of high rise building facades, such as the 28-story Franklin County Courthouse and 46-story art déco LeVeque Tower both in Columbus, OH; and the 20-story historic Liberty Bank Tower, in Dayton, OH. The scope of work included arms-length inspections from swing stage scaffolding, evaluation of curtain wall systems, photographic documentation of conditions requiring repair, and critical observation reports for compliance with local law requirements, public safety, and structural integrity.
