Certified Hazardous Materials Expert – Manufacturing Processes & Procedures - Environmental Management Systems - Civil Engineering

Michael is a Civil Engineer (MSCE) with over 25 years of experience in the design, planning, and delivery of high-value projects for both the government and private sectors. He has operated water, waste water and industrial treatment systems and has conducted and directed environmental investigations and hazardous waste remediation per the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Superfund requirements. This experience in the management of hazardous materials was performed under the regulatory framework of environmental and hazardous materials management as administered by the Department of Energy (DOE), EPA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Department of Transportation.

Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Mike’s project management experience includes technical studies, system design, capital construction, and software development in industrial manufacturing and DOE nuclear facilities. His particular expertise is in modifications to existing specialized spaces to meet new requirements, such as high hazard laboratories, nuclear, and industrial manufacturing facilities. His construction administrative background in these various environments also provides him with expertise in construction economics.

Michael is a Professional Engineer (PE) registered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering & Surveying (NCEES), licensed in Colorado, and is accredited by the Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards as a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
