Joseph E. Savage
Joe is an expert in entomology, horticultural entomology and plant pathology. His unique skill set is applied through investigation and testimony in cases involving insect infestations in industrial, commercial and residential structures, property damage claims, and food product contamination claims.
He has performed investigations involving the physiology, morphology, behavior, and life processes and adaptations of insects. His plant pathology experience has involved the study of pathogen identification, disease etiology, disease cycles, economic impact, plant disease resistance, and management of plant diseases.
He has worked as a medical entomologist for the U.S. Army, and as a staff entomologist for State and County agencies as well as independent pest control businesses.
Joe is a Board Certified Entomologist in Urban Entomology by the Entomological Society of America. He also holds New York State Pesticide Certifications in Categories 3A (horticultural: trees, shrubs and turf), 3B (interior plantscapes), 7A (structural insects, ants, roaches, wood destroying beetles, etc.) and 7C (termites and wood destroying organisms).
