Expert Witness Biography

Bruce is a mechanical engineer with over 25 years of experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, smoke control, and cogeneration systems. He provides investigations, reports, and testimony in matters involving personal injury or economic loss as they relate to building systems.

Most recently as a Project Manager for Engineering Economics, Inc., Bruce acted as Commissioning Authority inspecting and testing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) equipment and systems in commercial buildings, including schools, office buildings, and hospitals. He has also worked in the performance contracting industry where he designed energy saving retrofits and managed subcontractors to implement guaranteed savings agreements.

Bruce is a licensed Professional Engineer in more than five states and is a Certified Energy Manager. He is also a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) as well as the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
