Our vocational rehabilitation investigators evaluate the manifestations of acquired and congenital disabilities and how they impact the individual in the workplace. Medical, vocational and psycho/social histories are gathered to develop a comprehensive assessment of a person’s vocational strengths and weaknesses. Determination is made regarding an individual’s ability to enter into or return to their previous job or transfer skills to a new occupation. Our experts evaluate the need for modifications in the work place and an individual’s marketability in the current job market.
Our experts have extensive knowledge in all disability groups including orthopedic, neurological, traumatic head injury, developmental, learning, psychiatric, emotional, and speech/language, mental retardation and autism.
Our experts gain their knowledge through hands on experience in the field and are well versed in vocational evaluation, training, counseling and job placement, as well as, the development of vocational internships and mentorships for experiential learning in skill development.
