Rick is a geotechnical and structural engineer with over 36 years combined experience as a project manager and design consultant involving new construction and alterations/rehabilitation of bridges, highways, railways, rail stations, dams, historic structures, temporary structures, and schools.

His training in structural and geotechnical engineering has been applied extensively in the design of building alterations as well as the design, inspection and rehabilitation of bridges. Rick has used his geotechnical training to provide foundation engineering for building and bridge design projects; these projects include the selection of foundation type; calculating bearing capacities; determining pile type and capacities; and performing stability analyses. Rick's experience extends to other capacities of foundation engineering including pavement subgrade design, sheeting designs, lateral subgrade reaction capacities, settlement analyses and developing the boring programs needed to properly determine design parameters.

Rick’s extensive background and experience in geotechnical and structural engineering qualify him to design, test, and rehabilitate a diverse collection of buildings and structures. Rick is a licensed professional engineer in Delaware and New Jersey.
