With more than 40 years of industry experience, Ray is an expert in various aspects of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for numerous types of buildings. From product and system design through construction and commissioning, he addresses and teaches about sizing, configuration, service, testing, and construction related to HVAC systems. Ray’s experience ranges from heat pumps and cooling towers to duct construction and installation. He has unique expertise in product development and industrial systems, including clean rooms, medical and processing plants; restaurants and retail facilities, and pleasure boats.

Ray’s experience has included serving as the Vice President of a firm specializing in HVAC systems for clean rooms, director and supervising engineer for an electronic facility, and hands on design and installation work. He has taught construction science and management, refrigeration and electrical courses, and HVAC design and laboratory courses to technology students and field technicians. He is widely published and a frequent speaker within the industry and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers.
