 Dr. Andre is an expert in the field of human factors with an emphasis in visual perception. With nearly 20 years of experience in research and academia, he has specific experience researching issues such as visual fatigue, lighting and glare, alcohol consumption, and contrast perception. He investigates how these issues may or may not have impacted incidents ranging from vehicle collisions to slips, trips, and falls. Dr. Andre has been extensively published in some of the most respected publications in his field and has received multiple grants and awards from organization such as the American Psychological Association and the National Institutes of Health. He has taught courses ranging from a basic introduction to human factors to the science of vision and audition. He earned both his Masters and his Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Penn State University. He is a member of the American Association for Psychological Science, the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, and the Psychonomic Society.
