Joseph is a trucking operations expert with extensive experience in the environmental industry. His forensic casework focuses on personal injury and economic loss claims as they relate to hiring standards, corporate fleet policy, and compliance with various state and federal regulations. He has specific expertise in the transportation of hazardous waste and materials, as well as the development and implementation of Transportation Preparedness Prevention & Contingency Plans, Transportation Security Plans, Transportation Safety Manuals, and environmental licensing & permitting.
For more than 25 years, Joseph managed trucking facilities, hazardous and non-hazardous waste treatment facilities, and rock crushing facilities. He was a Corporate DOT Compliance Manager for the environmental services division of a 750 million dollar industrial services company and a Senior Vice President for an environmental company. Joseph maintains an active role in the truck transportation industry by continuing to provide regulatory compliance oversight and management consultation.
Joseph has received extensive training in environmental safety regulations, OSHA regulations involving hazard recognition and communication, and all aspects of transportation safety. Among his various certifications, Joseph is a Certified Hazardous Materials Trainer as well as a Certified Smith Driver Trainer.
