Joshua Bostick is an expert in industrial machinery, process systems, and workplace safety. The bulk of Joshua’s professional career has been spent in engineering roles in manufacturing environments. As a reliability engineer and an engineering and maintenance supervisor, Josh held responsibility for machine maintenance, installation, upgrades, improvements, and vibration analysis of all types of industrial equipment and processes. Industrial Safety: Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedure development and auditing; machine guarding design and installation; ergonomic assembly workstation and process development; industrial system safety improvements; hazard analysis and risk assessments; deflagration and combustible dust explosion investigation, confined spaces.

Reliability Engineering: Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program implementation for industrial manufacturing facilities; condition-based monitoring of equipment using predictive technologies such as vibration analysis, tribology, thermography, ultrasonic analysis, and motor current analysis; precision maintenance of equipment including alignment, torque specification, detailed job planning and specification, balancing, and baselining; asset management using criticality analysis, storeroom management, and work order planning and scheduling using CMMS; root cause analysis of mechanical, electrical, safety, and controls systems failures; data analytics using statistical analysis and modeling.
