Patrick Altvater has 35 years of professional experience in numerous civil and municipal engineering projects and positions. His design experience includes highway, storm and sanitary sewers, water main extensions, water and waste-water treatment facilities, bike paths, subdivisions, parking lots, and design-build commercial projects. Patrick also has extensive experience in the administration of municipal planning and zoning codes. Mr. Altvater applies his expertise to forensic casework involving injuries and economic loss claims.

Mr. Altvater has a diverse background in civil engineering and construction disciplines; his experience includes working in the public sector for 12 years in city engineer and service director positions, as well as working in the private sector for more than 20 years with consulting engineering firms. Throughout his career, Patrick has accumulated extensive experience in the planning, design, operation, and maintenance of public projects. Patrick’s experience provides him with a broad perspective and the ability to review and analyze disputes from multiple viewpoints within in a case.

Patrick is a professional engineer, licensed in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, New Mexico, and West Virginia. He earned his engineering degree from the Ohio State University and has worked on engineering projects across Ohio and neighboring States throughout his career.
