Ken is an electrical engineer with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, manufacturing automation, process control, industrial controls, and software development. He applies his expertise to forensic casework involving injuries and fires of electrical origin, as well as various issues involving industrial systems performance.
For nearly a decade, Ken was a corporate engineer performing electrical engineering in 4 different facilities, including manufacturing process control, process engineering, quality control, robotics, manufacturing supervision, and product development. For 18 years he was a controls engineer for a control system integrator, where he was involved in control panel design, equipment installations and upgrades, project management, industrial automation, machine control, process improvement, power distribution, UPS systems, supervision of electrical contractor installations, and workplace safety. Through his extensive experience, Ken is proficient in the National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, Electrical Safety in the Workplace, OSHA Standards for General Industry, and OSHA Electrical Safety Standards.
Ken is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, National Association of Forensic Engineers, National Fire Protection Association, as well as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He is a Professional Engineer, registered with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, licensed in more than a dozen states.
