Robin Roberts is an architect and construction professional with over 25 years of diverse professional experience. His career, prior to joining Robson Forensic, included building design, construction management, adaptive re-use, as well as hands-on experience as a general contractor. Robin applies his expertise to forensic investigations involving personal injury and construction claims.
As a registered architect, former licensed general contractor, and real estate agent, Robin can address both the theoretical and practical aspects of building design, construction project management, and safety within the built environment. His diverse project experience is a broad range of facility types, including multi-family residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and hospitality. His expertise includes design and construction documents, cost estimating, specifications, and a wide variety of building materials and techniques during the construction process, starting with initial design and continuing through demolition, site work, structural and mechanical elements, envelope detailing, and interior finishes.
Robin conducts forensic casework throughout the Southeast. He is a registered architect in Connecticut, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, and South Carolina; he holds certification by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards; he is also a certified user of the English XL slip tester. Robin earned his BA in Design and M.Arch. from Clemson University in South Carolina. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Architects and ASTM International.
