David Suazo Wildt is a Texas-based mechanical engineer with over seven years of professional experience performing vehicle crash testing and component failure analysis. He applies his expertise to forensic casework involving crash reconstruction and product liability disputes.
After earning his degree in Mechanical Engineering, David began his career at MGA Research Corporation. His roles ranged from Test Lab Engineer to Test Lab Manager. His work included conducting crash, dynamic, static, material, and durability tests on vehicles and vehicle components for most major domestic and international OEMs, as well as aviation enclosure and seating systems. David’s responsibilities included implementing new test methodologies and troubleshooting complex testing equipment. David maintained the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation for the lab and ensured compliance with critical industry regulations including FMVSS, FAA, and OEM internal standards.
David earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and a second Bachelor's in Mathematics from Abilene Christian University. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
