Many of our forensic experts in this practice are former law enforcement officers. With roots in the Federal Bureau of Investigation, local and state police departments, our experts have received the highest levels of training and have done the work at nearly every level of law enforcement. The abilities of our forensic science experts are supplemented by the broad expertise of our firm; when advantageous to our clients, our experts leverage the knowledge of experts in complementary disciplines, such as toxicology, vehicle dynamics, health care, and fire investigations.

Our experts in police practices and procedures are frequently tasked with reviewing the adequacy of law enforcement training and supervision and determining whether policies, procedures and actions of officers were properly adhered to in relation to a civil or criminal proceedings.

Our premises security experts evaluate the adequacy of security measures, policies and training, and the actions of security officers to determine if they were a contributing factor in matters involving assault, vandalism, or theft.

Our security experts evaluate pre-hire background screening, corporate investigations, sexual harassment investigations, accident safety and crime related events in corporate, manufacturing, distribution as well as hotel and resort settings.

Crime Scene Investigations

If the evidence in your criminal case has come into question, Robson Forensic experts in forensic science are available to provide analysis regarding the procedural aspects of evidence collection and storage, as well as the validity of evidence analyses.

Forensic Engineering in Criminal Investigations

Many of our criminal investigations leverage the expertise of our technical experts in other practice areas. It is common for our automotive engineers to reconstruct a vehicle crash as part of a criminal hearing, or for our fire investigators to perform an origin and cause analysis as part of an arson investigation.

Robson Forensic offers a fully appointed mechanical testing laboratory and a biological laboratory to assist our clients with the inspection and storage of evidence in cases involving police practices and security.
