Police Procedures

Active and retired police officers, FBI agents, and private security professionals all contribute to the impressive capabilities of our police and security practice.

Police Practices & Procedures

Our experts are frequently tasked with reviewing the adequacy of police department policies and procedures and determining whether or not they were properly adhered to in relation to a civil or criminal proceeding. Cases of this nature often involve alleged excessive force, improper vehicle pursuits, improper investigation procedures, jail procedures or misuse of department resources.

At Robson Forensic these investigations are conducted by active or retired law enforcement officers with decades of experience developing and implementing policies and procedures, and training and supervising law enforcement officers.

Security Practices & Procedures

Security investigations delve into the actions and responsibilities of security personnel both functioning as law enforcement officers, as well as private security personnel. Examples of casework include security personnel at malls and shopping centers, bars and nightclubs, concerts and sporting events, outdoor festivals, and schools, hotels and corporate campuses.

Our experts have broad experience at all levels of the criminal and civil justice system, as well as private sector investigative services. When appropriate, our experts in the areas of human factors, biomechanics, accident reconstruction, visibility, and meteorology assist in reconstructing the circumstances in which an incident took place.

Evidence & Testing

Robson Forensic offers a fully appointed mechanical testing laboratory to assist our clients with the inspection and storage of evidence in police and security practices cases. Our lab facilities can accommodate large evidence items and are equipped to host a variety of test procedures. Visit our Mechanical Testing Laboratory page for more information.
