If so, you may be interested in working for Robson Forensic as a part time Small Animal Veterinary Medicine Expert.
Robson Forensic seeks a DVM to expand our existing animal science practice. This individual will apply their expertise to plaintiff and defense investigations involving animal bites, abuse and neglect, Zoonotic disease transmission, veterinary malpractice, the veterinary prescription of opioids, and other disputes involving animals.
Every project is unique, but many involve a site inspection, the review of case documents, and technical analysis to develop an opinion regarding how and why particular events occurred. Most cases culminate with a written report, but some require deposition or courtroom testimony.
No prior forensic experience is required. Robson Forensic provides training, resources, and ongoing support to empower experts to successfully apply their technical expertise to forensic casework. We are looking for an individual with an inquisitive mind who is driven to master a new application of their craft. Expert work is interesting, intense and challenging.
Anywhere in the US, preferably near one of our regional offices.
- DVM from an AVMA accredited university
- 10+ years clinical experience as a small animal general practitioner
- Current license to practice
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team
- Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills
