We are looking for a Chemist/Materials Engineer with broad design and manufacturing expertise to join our national Materials Science practice group.
The Materials Engineer/Polymer Chemist will investigate failures involving a wide variety of products and materials across a multitude of industries, from consumer products, to building materials, to automotive and aviation materials. No two cases are quite the same. The expert will be tasked with applying their careers worth of knowledge, training, and experience to provide scientifically supported investigation, analysis, reports, and testimony to help resolve civil litigation and insurance claims involving personal injury and product liability analysis.
Expertise must include hands-on material failure experience and in-depth knowledge of operational safety issues and manufacturing standards of care.
This position is available immediately on a part time basis.

- Degree in Chemistry or Engineering
- Graduate degree highly preferred
- Ability to obtain P.E. License if Engineer by education and training
- 15+ years hands-on experience
- Expertise in Plastics & Polymers
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team
- Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills
