Construction Fall Investigations Webinar Series

This webinar will examine the standards and circumstances that figure prominently in construction fall investigations. Civil Engineer, Greg Pestine will provide an introduction to OSHA 1926 with an emphasis on fall protection as it relates to scaffolds, steel erection, and aerial lifts. He will review the fact pattern from two prior investigations to provide real life examples where training, execution, or enforcement fell short.

Structural Engineer, Mark Duckett will examine what happens when fall protection measures fail. Taking a deep dive into construction guardrails, his discussion will explore design and testing requirements, including structural deficiencies that can result in falls.
