Extracurricular Activities Webinar Series

The requirements for student safety and supervision in after-school programs such as clubs, sports teams, and intramural activities are often more nuanced than with traditional classroom activities. These activities can take place off-campus in other facilities, public/municipal property, and/or in partnership with third party organizations, adding layers of oversight and responsibility. In this webinar, experts from our Supervision & Education practice will address some of the specific concerns that arise while investigating incidents that occurred during after school programming.

Topics will be discussed from the perspectives of administrators, sports coaches, and recreational activity leaders, with a dedicated expert representing each group. Attendees can expect to learn about the common issues, the standard of care for ensuring student safety, and administrative or operational gaps that can result in injuries, assaults, and abuse.
