Individuals in facility-based programs (childcare, nursing homes, assisted living, group homes, hospital and educational settings, etc.) may suffer from conditions that make them vulnerable to choking, aspiration, and asphyxiation while eating and/or drinking. These risks are best managed through comprehensive programs that assess the needs of each individual and implement corresponding interventions, an approach that is often referred to as the continuum of care.
In this 30-minute webinar, Doctor of Occupational Therapy and Health Care Administration Expert, Dr. Joseph Muniak will discuss the processes and procedures used by facility-based programs to manage feeding and food-related risks. His conversation will focus on those programs as they pertain to legal disputes following an adverse event.
Access to this event is reserved for attorneys and insurance professionals. This event is not open to engineers, scientists, or forensic experts outside of Robson Forensic.
